In 2001 Kolkata was undergoing a sea of change with technology and service become the buzzword. Healthcare too was begging for a change. A leading hospital was emerging in Kolkata and wanted someone to set up the Diagnostic centre for them which would be inferior to none and would provide a human touch along with quality healthcare. The hospital approached Dr. Surrendra Reddy in Hyderabad, himself a highly competent and established Radiologist of Hyderabad and promoter of Vijaya Diagnostics, having 15 Diagnostic Centers in all prominent locations of Hyderabad, operating successfully since past 20 years. Excellence brings growth and growth needs change. Pulse diagnostics since then has grown by leaps and bounds and moved out and set up its own independent unit.
